Overview

The Wolastoqey Tribal Council Inc. (WTCI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Wolastoqey First Nations communities in New Brunswick, Canada. Founded to address specific community needs, WTCI fosters growth and success through capacity-building projects, training, workshops, and access to social services. It advocates for equitable service access and preserves Wolastoqey cultural heritage. WTCI supports five member communities—Wotstak (Woodstock), Sitansisk (St. Mary’s), Bilijk (Kingsclear), Welamukotuk (Oromocto), and Matawaskiye (Madawaska)—by providing programs in education, health, employment, and cultural preservation, guided by values of accessibility, respect, and collaboration.

We designed and developed a vibrant, user-friendly website for the Wolastoqey Tribal Council Inc. (WTCI), a non-profit dedicated to empowering Wolastoqey First Nations communities in New Brunswick. The site showcases WTCI’s mission to foster community growth through capacity-building, training, and social services, while preserving rich cultural heritage. Featuring a clean, modern design with intuitive navigation, the website highlights key services, community profiles, and cultural imagery, such as a traditional round dance banner. Built with accessibility and community engagement in mind, it serves as a vital digital hub for WTCI’s five member communities, blending functionality with cultural resonance.
