Overview
Foundations for Emotional Wellness (FFEW) is a mental health clinic based in Toronto, Ontario, offering both in-person and virtual therapeutic services across Ontario. They specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and parents through evidence-based approaches such as individual therapy, group therapy, parent coaching, and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) treatment.
Led by clinical psychologist Dr. Zia Lakdawalla, FFEW employs a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, registered psychotherapists, and social workers, focused on improving emotional regulation, behavioral health, anxiety, OCD, and mood issues in youth and families
What We Have Created
This was a large-scale project where we partnered with our SEO partners at Digital Moose to build FFEW’s new online presence from the ground up. We developed a carefully structured SEO plan that informed the entire site architecture, user experience, and content strategy. To maximize visibility and usability, we built a custom knowledge bank with categorized resources and a robust internal linking system that connects the site like a seamless web, making information easy to find for visitors and easy to rank for search engines.
Design-wise, we modernized the website with a clean yet family-friendly aesthetic, enhancing their existing brand colors to feel more vibrant and approachable while retaining a professional edge. The user interface emphasizes accessibility and trust, guiding visitors naturally toward services, resources, and support programs.
On the development side, we implemented advanced coding practices with full control over HTML, CSS, and other languages, while keeping the WordPress dashboard user-friendly. Each page was restructured into editable visual components, giving the FFEW team far more flexibility to update and manage their site independently.
This project showcases our ability to deliver a complete digital transformation—blending SEO strategy, design creativity, and technical excellence into a platform that empowers both the client and the community they serve.
